The goal of the Office of the Vice President for Research is to develop and make available to the UGA research community programs and materials that will increase the knowledge of and facilitate the highest standards of responsible research and compliance with federal, state and university regulations and guidelines.
OVPR promotes responsible conduct of research, the practice of scientific investigation with integrity, including the awareness and application of established professional norms and ethical principles in the performance of all activities related to scientific research. OVPR policies regarding conflicts of interest and scientific misconduct are also available to guide scientific behavior.
